What brought you here to Sanctuary Aus?
Sanctuary Aus looks at behaviour support on a holistic level. We try to engage with families and support the clients by looking at everything going on for them, not just their disability. I love being able to support people holistically, looking at where they have come from and where they want to be.
What keeps you here at SA?
What do you like about your role?
I love meeting new people constantly, learning more about my clients and what is going to help them, doing play therapy with the younger kids and being able to use my skills from my counselling degree as well as behaviour support.
Your previous work experience
I have previous experience working with trauma, and am experienced in trauma-informed care.
Your previous study
Masters in Counseling and Psychotherapy.
The clients! Everyone I meet is so special to work with, I love the diversity in my work day, and love seeing their happy faces when I visit them.
