Sonja Flett
Director of Programs
Sonja brings strategic thinking, quiet leadership and a determination to see improvement in the service delivery standards throughout the not-for-profit sector. Over the past 17 years, Sonja has developed an excellent track record of effectively engaging and partnering with not for profits, commercial organisations, government departments and most importantly our everyday community, to ensure high quality support is in place for the most vulnerable, disadvantaged and isolated children in our region. Sonja has demonstrated experience providing leadership in organisations, specifically focusing on Domestic and Family Violence Services, Community Development, Community Education, and Intensive Family Support Services. Sonja enjoys facilitating self-development group programs for parents, women and children in a trauma informed manner and also has a passion and a skilful capacity working with the autism community, to remove barriers people with autism experience in the workplace and in day to day life. Sonja is fiercely determined to see the sustainable development of a safer community for all children and young people to grow up in, and this is at the heart of everything she does.
